J’ai découvert cette adresse dans un contexte très perturbant puisque j’y suis allé dîner accompagné d’un ami le soir du 13 novembre 2015, devenu depuis tristement célèbre… Nous étions à mille lieues de savoir ce qui c’était passé car nous étions enfermés dans une salle de cinéma…. les événements sont ce  qu’ils sont… et au 27, rue du Dragon, nous avons malgré tout pu brièvement nous régaler des mets de monsieur Lignac.

Je vous mets en copie le commentaire du site qui reflète bien à mon sens l’ambiance du lieu et le projet de Cyril de Lignac :

« Une adresse culte à Saint-Germain-des-Prés. Une table qui en a vu passer du beau monde depuis sa création dans les années 50 : acteurs, chanteurs, politiciens et même gotha international. Le Tout Paris s’est assis sur les banquettes en cuir du « Claude Sainlouis ». Quand l’occasion s’est présentée, en 2011, d’offrir un « come-back » remarqué à cette ancienne gloire bistrotière de la Rive-Gauche, Cyril Lignac n’a pas hésité. Sensible à l’histoire et à l’esprit des lieux, le chef a redonné à l’institution germanopratine ses lettres de noblesse, tout en préservant son atmosphère chaleureuse et son authenticité.

Rebaptisé « Aux Près », le bistrot culte délivre aujourd’hui une cuisine bistronomique, ouverte sur le monde. I first discovered this restaurant in a very unsettling context as I dined there with a friend on the evening of 13 November. We were a million miles from imagining what was happening because we were ensconced in a cinema…it is what it is…and then at 27 rue du Dragon, we were briefly able to enjoy Cyril Lignac’s fare. To give you an idea of the atmosphere in the restaurant, I quote from the description on the restaurant’s website:
“A cult address in Saint-Germain-des-Prés. Ever since it opened in the 1950s, it has hosted society figures and celebrities including actors, singers, politicians and even some of the international elite. Everyone who is anyone in Paris has graced the leather-upholstered seats of this restaurant, originally called the “Claude Saint Louis”. When the opportunity arose in 2011 to stage a “come-back” of what was once the king of bistros on Paris’s Left Bank, Cyril Lignac didn’t need to be asked twice. Keenly aware of the history and spirit of the venue, Chef Lignac has restored the prestige and standing of this institution in St. Germain-des-Prés while retaining the friendly, authentic atmosphere.
