En cette période post-fêtes et pour cet hivers, pas encore très rigoureux, je ne peux que vous conseiller l’une des patinoires parisiennes.

Commençons avec la patinoire de l’hôtel de Ville. Comme chaque année, le parvis de l’hôtel de Ville accueille jusqu’au 17 mars une patinoire de 1365 mètres carrés. Vous pourrez accéder à la glace de 12h à 22h en semaine, le créneau du matin étant réservé aux groupes scolaires et aux centres de loisirs. La patinoire est ouverte de 9h à 22h le week-end. Des cours, initiations et démonstrations  sont proposées gratuitement de 9h à 12h les samedis et dimanches. Attention aux conditions climatiques, la patinoire peut-être fermée en cas de fortes pluies ou de neige abondante. Et surtout, n’oubliez pas vos gants, ils sont obligatoires.

Le Grand Palais propose également quelque chose d’unique et d’inédit puisque sous la grande verrière vous trouverez une gigantesque patinoire de 1 800 mètres carrés. Le Grand Palais des Glaces est ouvert du lundi au dimanche de 10h à 19h. Vous pouvez également opter pour les nocturnes de 20h à 2h avec au programme dîner, DJ et spectacle de lumière. La bloggeuse Bambi à Paris en parle très bien d’ailleurs. Vous n’avez que jusqu’à dimanche pour en profiter alors dépêchez-vous.

Idem pour la « Patinoire des 5 Continents » qui s’achève aussi le 6 janvier. Au milieu du Marché de Noël des Champs-Elysées, vous pourrez arpenter un sentier de glace de 60 mètres de long, découvrir les 300 animaux articulés qui jalonnent le parcours, opter pour la ludo-patinoire ou encore la patinoire de vitesse. Au total, 1 875 mètres carrés de glace pour le plaisir des grands comme des petits.

Paris’ ice-rinks
In this post-festive yet mild winter period, I can but urge you to visit one of the Parisian ice- rinks. Let’s begin with the ice-rink at the Hôtel de Ville.  Every year until 17 March, the square in front of the Hôtel de Ville plays host to a 1,365m2 ice-rink.  Skaters can take to the ice between noon and 10 pm during the week, while the morning session is reserved for schools and kids’ clubs.  The ice-rink is open from 9 am to 10 pm at weekends. Classes, introductions and demonstrations are offered free of charge from 9 am to noon on Saturdays and Sundays.  Keep an eye on the weather, because the ice-rink may be closed due to heavy rain or snow. And above all, don’t forget your gloves, they are indispensable. The Grand Palais also offers a unique experience, as under the huge glass roof is a gigantic ice-rink measuring 1,800m2. Le Grand Palais des Glaces is open from Monday to Sunday from 10 am to 7 pm.  You may also want to try the night sessions from 10 pm to 2 am with the dinner, DJ and light show package. The blogger Bambi à Paris speaks very highly of it.  You only have until Sunday to take advantage of it, so don’t hang around. It is the same thing for the “Patinoire des 5 Continents” which also ends on 6 January.  In the heart of the Christmas Market on the Champs-Elysées, you can glide along a 60m long ice-walkway and discover 300 model animals lining the path, the ‘fun’ rink, and the speed skating rink.  In total, there are 1,875 m² of ice which will delight both young and old.
