Vous le savez, le premier Mathurin Live Contest le 26 juin dernier, était un évènement important pour moi. J’avais d’ailleurs fait gagner quelques invitations sur Facebook et partagé avec vous les préparatifs de cette magnifique soirée.
Vous étiez nombreux à assister à cet évènement et à la révélation du premier talent du Mathurin Live Contest. Pour l’occasion, Le Mathurin s’est transformé en une scène de concert éphémère sur laquelle cinq groupes sont venus défendre leur univers musical !
Le jury de professionnels composé de Pierre-Guillaume Ledan de W9, Julien, animateur sur Ouï FM, Maud Philippe-Bert, rédactrice en chef de Musique Info et Aymeric Pichevin, associé chez H.O.M.E a récompensé le prometteur groupe Eléphant !
Au terme d’une soirée acoustique à l’ambiance électrique, le rafraîchissant duo pop-folk, déjà chouchou de Benjamin Biolay, a décroché la bourse de 5 000 euros d’aide à la production.
Pour rappel, le Mathurin Live Contest a été produit par HOME et mené en partenariat avec Noomiz, la plateforme musicale de référence ainsi que Ouï FM, la radio rock.

Mathurin Live Contest 1st Winner :
As you know, the first Mathurin Live Contest on 26 June 2012, was an important event for me. Indeed, I gave away some invitations on Facebook and let you in on the preparations for this brilliant evening.
Many of you attended this event and watched the crowning of the best talent from the Mathurin Live Contest. For the occasion, Le Mathurin was transformed into a pop-up concert stage where five bands came to defend their musical sensibilities!
The judging panel comprised Pierre-Guillaume Ledan from W9; Julien, a DJ on Ouï FM; Maud Philippe-Bert, editor-in-chief of Musique info; and Aymeric Pichevin, an associate at HOME. They chose to recognise the promising band Eléphant!
After an acoustic evening with an electric ambiance, the refreshing pop-folk duo, which is already a favourite of Benjamin Biolay, won the grand prize of 5,000 euros for production assistance.
As a reminder, the Mathurin Live Contest was produced by HOME and organised in partnership with Noomiz, the online music platform of reference, and Oüi FM, the rock radio station.
