L’été n’est pas terminé ! Ground Control est encore là pour en témoigner jusqu’au 15 octobre prochain. Profitez dès à présent des derniers jours de ce bar, pour le moins insolite, installé dans l’un des hauts lieux du patrimoine industriel parisien, l’ancien dépôt SNCF de la Chapelle. Imaginez un peu, des anciens rails, des hangars mythiques et des cours intérieures de la SNCF transformées en scènes de concerts, expos, marchés et restaurants.
Ce bar éphémère avait déjà séduit l’an passé de nombreux parisiens en investissant le Quai d’Austerlitz avec ses divers concerts, expos, projections de films ou ateliers d’animations. L’édition 2015 ne manque pas d’imagination pour être à la hauteur de nos attentes ! Cette année, Ground Control s’étend sur près de 3000 mètres carrés pour nous offrir une expérience unique. On y découvre des ambiances très différentes où se mêlent bistrots, brocantes, poulaillers, salles de pétanque sans oublier les scènes de concerts.
Si les entrepôts abandonnés et les rails rouillés vous intriguent, prenez vite le train en marche pour profiter de cette expérience originale avant le 15 octobre prochain.

Ground Control, the last few days of this unusual pop-up bar
Summer’s not over yet! As proof, Ground Control is still here until 15 October. Make the most of this rather unusual bar set up in the one of the mythical heritage sites of Parisian manufacturing, the former SNCF railway depot at La Chapelle. Imagine the old tracks, the legendary old hangars and the interior yards of the SNCF transformed into concert venues, exhibition spaces, markets and restaurants.
Last year the pop-up bar was on the Quai d’Austerlitz where the programme of concerts, exhibitions, film screenings and workshops attracted many Parisians. The 2015 edition more than lives up to expectations with plenty of new and imaginative events! This year, Ground Control offers us a unique experience in a space covering almost 3,000 square metres. It’s a mix of bistros, second-hand stores, henhouses, petanque courts and concert venues where each zone has a different feel to it.
If disused hangars and rusty train tracks are your thing, jump on board before 15 October for a new and original experience.
